Welcome to the Eureka Union School District (EUSD) 2024-2025 School Year
Dear Parents and Family Members,
As Summer 2024 continues, we send you our best wishes and hope that you are enjoying this time with your family. We are busy planning and preparing for another exemplary school year that begins Wednesday, August 14.
Guided by a wide range of stakeholder input throughout the past school year, we are excited to implement our new English Language Arts and Mathematics curriculums, along with the creation and refinements of programs that provide exciting opportunities to enhance our outstanding educational experiences for every student. Our Eureka team continues with high energy, commitment and dedication to excellence on behalf of our students.
Please remember to complete the Annual Update process (emergency card, annual notifications, technology use agreement, etc.) that was sent last week so your child(ren) are set in place for the start of school. For the Annual Update, you will receive an electronic message from PowerSchool directing you to the PowerSchool parent portal, where you will complete your child’s annual registration. If you do not yet have a PowerSchool parent portal account, you will be given instructions on how to create one. Upon receiving that notification, if you have any questions, contact the school office.
In closing, I would like to highlight the unique and tremendous support of the Eureka Schools Foundation (ESF). ESF, a 100% volunteer fundraising organization made up of parents, continues to support enrichment programs for your children. We are truly grateful to your generosity and our partnership with ESF. Without private funding from ESF, our District’s ability to fully continue offering these valuable programs such as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), vocal and instrumental music, and athletics would not be possible. I encourage you to visit the website http://eurekaschoolsfoundation.org to learn more about ESF’s annual fundraising events that support the exceptional programs for our students.
