Assistant Superintendent Message

Assistant Superintendent Message

It is an honor to support the students, staff and community of the Eureka Union School District. The Student Services Department aligns our mission to the District's Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) with a focus on raising the levels of student proficiency, resiliency, interventions and supplemental services, through collaboration and open communication.

Our department consists of school counselors, school nurses, health assistants, special education teachers, instructional paraprofessionals, school psychologists, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, a behavioral analyst, physical therapist, and adapted physical education teacher who serve the needs of our preschool through 8th grade students.
We hope our department webpages provide our community with helpful resources, and plan to continue to refine throughout the school year.  We welcome your input and comments, please feel free to reach out and share!

California Healthy Kids Surveys: 2023-2024

California Healthy Kids Surveys: 2023-2024

Along with most districts across the state, Eureka Union will be participating in the implementation of the California Healthy Kids Survey for our 6th and 7th graders this year. This survey helps us understand how students perceive their current learning environments as well as their health and wellbeing, which in turn allows our staff to implement strategies for improvement.
